How to create a realistic morning schedule

Top managers, musicians and athletes like to talk about their morning routine. This is a really very effective tool that allows you to increase productivity, add energy and motivation, and in general, significantly change life for the best. We have collected several principles that will help productively conduct the beginning of a new day.

Ask any personal growth coach, and he will confirm how important it is to adhere to the morning routine. Many celebrities willingly express the opinion of what must be done in the morning:

  • meditate;
  • do exercises;
  • drink freshly squeezed juices;
  • drink coffee (with oil);
  • practice visualization;
  • keep a diary;
  • make a list of current tasks;
  • Check email;
  • prioritize;
  • To do yoga;
  • creatively self -explores;
  • walk;
  • make a list of reasons for gratitude;
  • „Clean“ the lymph system;
  • do the Ayurvedic head massage;
  • Japanese tea ceremony.

It can scare a little. After all, in addition to these classes, you have to have time to take a shower, put yourself in order, get dressed and get to work. If there are children who need to be assembled to school, a dog that needs to be walked, get up at one in the morning?

Undoubtedly, you need to make a schedule for the most important part of the day. This will improve the quality of life and productivity. But first of all, you should think about it suits you and you could constantly adhere to it. It must be realistic. Most lives an ordinary life, we do not have personal coaches, cooks, masseurs who could help. Several principles, following which you can get up from that leg.

Wake up early

Almost universal rule for all. If you are used to getting up at 7:30, crawl out of bed, quickly snack with cupcake with coffee and run to work at 8:00, you will need more time. Every week, put the alarm 15 minutes earlier, until you get used to waking up at the desired time.

Wake up with a smile

If you are not a “lark”, it will not be easy, but efforts will pay off a hundredfold. Try to get up at the first signal of the alarm clock, do not click the „Set aside“ button. Another 6 minutes of restless sleep will not bring benefits, but you will send the brain a signal that you are not striving to start a new day.

Find a way to return enthusiasm and joy before the upcoming day. Prepare a pleasant, energetic music and turn it on right away, as you wake up. Put an inspiring picture or quote on the phone to see it every time you check the messages. Remember what makes you enjoy life and feel gratitude. Put a bottle of aromatic oil next to the bed, the aroma will help to cheer up.

Make a list of things

List everything that you would like to do in the morning, in the order of importance. Start with the most necessary: get dressed and put yourself in order, have breakfast, prepare children for school, walk the dog, etc. D.

Then select 2-3 additional tasks that you would like to perform in the morning. This should be what helps to relieve stress, gives energy and motivation and gives pleasure. The extra time that you will have in the morning now, use it so as to create the

right mood for the whole day.

Now calculate how much time you will need for each item from the list and, based on this, decide what time you need to get up. This should be a reasonable time (you will not wake up at 4:30). It will be useful to add 15 minutes to unforeseen circumstances.

Check the schedule in action

It’s time to check the routine in practice and evaluate how well it works. First, spend the weekend test to exclude problems that may break the working day.

Then try the schedule for a couple of weeks, making the necessary amendments. Listen to your feelings, but remember that to develop new habits you will need time and willpower. First, a new schedule can cause stress and discomfort. When you get used to getting up earlier and do all the planned things, then you can evaluate how suitable for you.

Be flexible and realistic

On some days you will not have the opportunity to do what you planned. The circumstances are changing: you have a business trip and you live at the hotel, the child fell ill, the dog stained the bed or something else happened. Remember why you are trying to get used to the constant morning routine: so that there is more joy and less stress in life. If you begin to worry that you can’t do yoga because the dog was vomit. Be prepared to change the schedule as necessary.

Do not throw the intended one

The benefits of a stable morning routine that suits you helps to relieve stress and gives motivation, is truly enormous. The efforts that will have to be made at the beginning until it becomes a habit, will pay off the hundredfold. Continue to adhere to the intended plan (although sometimes it will not work out due to circumstances), do not give up and do not quit until you try it. Do not be too strict, if you miss something, do not scold yourself, but try to return to your system sooner.
